Rooney Mara's Sexy Slip: Gotta Have It or Make It Stop?

We know that slip dresses are a trend. Well, we know that they were a trend in the late '90s, right around the time heroine chic had its fifteen minutes of fame.

Though Rooney Mara looks beautiful in this barely there slip that she rocked for Cannes, we kinda wish the underwear as ready-to-wear look had gone the way of the waif trend.

The Side Effects star's Calvin Klein dress is no doubt well constructed and beautifully crafted, but to the naked eye she looks...naked.

Which is why we're saying this look has got to stop. But what's your take?
