So numbers: Dolce & Gabbana & &, autumn/winter 13-14

Dolce & Gabanna AW13Dolce Gabbana fall/winter &, 13/14

Yikes. FBN has created its own Everest here with a look that is dripping in metaphor. Have you heard the phrase, the staff is political? Well let's call this look "fashion is politics." In fashion talk? A mini crisis of Church and State (see. 2013 Italy) asks a jeweled Crown and an earring of affirmation.

Bit of an oxymoron, this dress. On one side is all right and Regal, the other is short enough to show some knickers, which Royal is not at all. Katy Perry wearing a piece from the collection to the Met Ball, and thereby confirmed because it is better to avoid the pop royalty watch unless there are actually pop royalty.

The Bell, as it bears a subtle flare, the bracelet, which means it stops short the section of your arm on which you might want to wear one (please don't, there is more than enough to go this already).

Press notes refer Cathedral of Monreale in Sicily and Byzantine mosaics and the Venetians are a clear inspiration. Floor-to-ceiling Windows and a head of State are represented via artigianato designer brand, boasting big jewels and intricate beading, coloured.

Rather, pointed heel.

As if this collection was already thick with dramatic irony. As we go to print Mr Dolce and Gabbana Mr face a suspended prison sentence for tax evasion, i.e. their appeal should not have happened, the collection next spring could be committed by, you guessed it ... inside!

But this is fashion, so FBN would rather not think about these things and instead withdraws into his sartorial Bliss bubble. Which, incidentally, is a place where are worn dress ceremony, copious amounts of gold and jewel-encrusted hairstyles; and ethics, such as pink Ugg boots, remains hidden behind the wardrobe where they belong.
